Clients will receive their 2016 tax documents securely for review and e-signing through SafeSend Returns.
This simple, easy-to-use electronic delivery software will streamline communication between our tax professionals and the clients they serve. Clients should keep a look out for an email from SafeSend Returns with a unique link when their tax documents are ready for review. Then, answer a simple identity verification question to access the return and follow the step-by-step instructions on the platform.
Clients will have the option to easily e-sign 1040 returns. Other 8879 forms for business returns will be shared securely over this software for the user to print and sign; the documents can either then be scanned and shared with the team through SafeSend Returns, faxed or sent through a traditional channel like USPS. 1041’s will not be delivered through SafeSend Returns at this time.
This not only will cut down the time clients spend on their tax returns, but assure a safer, more secure way to go about the transaction. Clients will still be able to download the documents and save them for their files once they have reviewed them. SafeSend Returns can be used on any computer, smartphone or tablet.
