Scott Clynch

Scott Clynch is a Partner and financial planner. He is an alumnus of Texas Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation, and is a Certified Public Accountant as well as an Investment Advisor Representative.
Before joining CWA in 2013, Scott spent three years at Ernst & Young in tax compliance — grounding him in the financial complexity business owners face today.
Scott takes pride in guiding clients through every stage of their financial plan, helping them realize their full financial potential. He has personally guided his clients through the successful transfer of their practice, including sales to associate doctors, outside buyers, and DSOs. He has also helped them navigate the full arc of their financial journey, from early planning decisions to long-term financial independence.

He is a featured lecturer at CWA’s Practice Transition Seminar and is a frequent presenter at dental study clubs and conferences nationwide. He also guest lectures at the Texas A&M and Texas Tech College of Dentistry programs.
In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife, Morgan, and their sons, Cameron and Jay. He also enjoys golfing, traveling, and cheering on the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
