Scott Clynch

Scott Clynch is an alumnus of Texas Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation. He is a Certified Public Accountant and an Investment Advisor Representative and became a Partner at CWA in 2026.

He joined CWA in 2013 after spending three years at Ernst & Young, where he worked as a senior in tax compliance. Scott’s strong tax background continues to be a valuable resource for the clients he passionately serves.

Scott takes pride in educating his clients at every stage of their long-term financial plan and finds great satisfaction in helping them realize their financial potential.

“I am passionate about seeing progress in my client’s lives. The development of their financial plan is paramount, but to see improvement as a family, as well as members of their community is a huge part of what makes me excited to meet with my client’s year after year.”

Throughout his tenure at CWA, Scott has taken the lead on key firm initiatives, including speaking at the Practice Transition Seminar and DSO Seminar, as well as presenting at study clubs and dental meetings nationwide. He is also deeply involved in mentoring associates and younger planners as they continue to grow in their professional careers.

In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife, Morgan, and son, Cameron, as well as perfecting his golf game, traveling, and cheering on the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Scott and Morgan are also expecting their second son in May 2026.
