Yesterday at Facebook’s F8 Developer Conference, Mark Zuckerberg announced that brands will now have direct link to Facebook users with chat bots. If you’ve ever used Facebook’s instant messaging function, or resolved a customer service issue by “chatting” with a virtual company representative, then you’ve already had a chat bot interactive experience.
We’ll follow this story closely, but what we know now is that the possibilities for dental practice management are endless:
- Engage patients real-time with personal or general messages from your practice
- Answer customer questions or schedule appointments directly from Facebook
- There is potential for this function to be integrated on your business website, in the “contact us” section.
