Sandra received her Bachelor of Science in petroleum geology and Masters of Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.

Prior to joining Cain Watters and Associates, Sandra gained valuable tax experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Internal Revenue Service. She started her journey with CWA in 1992 as a tax preparer.

She took the opportunity to apprentice with Darrell Cain for several years as an assistant financial planner, building her client base. Initially, her clients were doctors buying into dental practices; over the years, many of those doctors became the sellers in transactions she helped facilitate. She is a Certified Public Accountant and an Investment Advisor Representative.

Sandra is married to her husband, Paul, and heartily supports his volunteer efforts with Search One Rescue Team, which is one of the state’s largest and oldest K9 search teams. She enjoys volunteering at her church, travelling to explore new cities and beautiful countryside as well as reading nonfiction.
