Steve has worked with hundreds of clients in reaching their personal and professional financial goals since joining the firm in 1996. Prior to joining Cain Watters and Associates, Steve started his public accounting career at KPMG in 1984.  He then became the Chief Financial Officer of The Centennial Life Insurance Company.

Steve became a partner at CWA in 2014. His entrepreneurial spirit has led him to create CWA affiliate Best New Patients, which leverages the purchasing power of private dental professionals to get wholesale pricing on high-quality dental products.

Steve is an alumnus of Kansas University, with a Bachelor of Science in business accounting.  He is Certified Public Accountant and an Investment Advisor Representative.  He is also a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs.

He enjoys traveling abroad and watching all competitive sports.  He has two children, Molly and Tara.
