Estate Planning
General Estate Planning Services
This basic level of Estate Planning is included with the following other services at no additional charge:
- Personal Financial Independence Planning (Phase I)
- Monitoring - Annual Planning Review and Update (Phase II)
As part of your initial consultation, we will review your current estate planning documents, including wills, revocable living trusts, durable powers of attorney, medical powers of attorney, living wills (advance directives), and HIPAA authorizations. Our goal during this phase is to review and analyze your current estate plan and provide recommendations for suggested changes to ensure that basic federal estate tax planning is implemented in your plan. The estate plan review includes not only review of the documentation, but an analysis of your current assets, titling and ownership of such assets, and liquidity issues associated with estate tax planning. As part of your monitoring consultations thereafter, we will continue to annually review your documents and your financial situation to assist you in determining whether revisions or changes are required, or whether more sophisticated planning should be considered. If, based on your wealth level and need, you require additional estate planning services, a separate Estate Planning Consultation engagement is available to you.
