Tom received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science with specialization in tax from The University of North Texas in Denton. He is a CPA and an Investment Advisor Representative.
Upon graduation, Tom joined the international accounting firm of Grant Thornton. His duties included tax compliance and the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for high net worth individuals and mid market businesses.
Prior to joining Cain Watters in 2002, Tom was the CFO/COO of a start up company. His duties included the development and implementation of internal infrastructures, budgeting and monitoring financial operations and development and monitoring of growth strategies.
